Nowadays, with the increasing popularity of social media platforms, many young people do not find their interest in reading daily news or even watching TV. However, I believe that media agencies can help them by offering some attraction apps based on their age group.
On the one hand, with the advent of digital media platforms such as social media, apps, and websites, adolescents often consume news through these convenient and easily accessible media rather than traditional newspapers. In other words, when toddlers use these traditional ways to be aware of global issues or even in their country, they do not find it appropriate for their generation; nevertheless, cutting-edge technology gives them opportunities with apps, news, and websites. For example, BBC News launched a website that provides readers with every event around the world. Thus, what can be said is that modern tools can not only be used as entertainment activities but can also be utilized as a source to enhance young people’s knowledge.
On the other hand, collaborating with superstars and social media influencers can help news organizations reach young audiences and make content relatable and engaging. To be more articulate, if the government’s organizations set clear plans to make their content fit with new generations and offer them their interest to catch their attention about the global crises, they will be able to follow such kind of news and TV. For example, a recent study from Cairo University found that modern apps that are created for young people help them a lot to understand what is happening around them and follow the news in their homeland. Therefore, media agencies have an indispensable role.
In conclusion, after this essay has manifested the point mentioned above, it can be reiterated that social media platforms are considered a modern alternative to traditional paper news. However, I believe that influencers have a detrimental impact on young people.
