Nowadays, in many countries, wages for some types of job are much higher than wages for other types of job. Some people believe this situation is unfair. In my opinion, while the gap can sometimes be too large, higher salaries for certain jobs are reasonable.
Firstly, because these occupations bring a lot of value to the community. Some jobs require more skills, education, or responsibility. For example, both doctors and engineers require rigorous training before they can work professionally. In addition, hazardous jobs also command higher salaries than average because they directly affect the lives of the workers. Therefore, it is understandable that they earn more than workers in jobs that require fewer qualifications, such as retail or basic service positions.
However, not all high-paying jobs are always fair. There are people who lack competence but, due to connections, are paid unfairly high salaries. Or as some people in entertainment can earn extremely high incomes without having the same level of responsibility as doctors or teachers. But many people who make quiet contributions to society, such as teachers, nurses, and laborers, are paid disproportionately low wages. This can lead to dissatisfaction and a lack of motivation among workers.
In conclusion, I believe that higher salary for job which bring many contributions to society is reasonable, but overall payment systems should be fair and consider multiple factors to reduce inequality.
