In the twenty-first century, not only husbands but also wives require to work full time to meet the increasing prices of daily commodities. It is rational for women and men to share household works when they return home. From my point of view, it is partially acceptable for both to work on housework with separated tasks.
All family members should share the work of the household based on their interest since nobody would like to pay all the attention to the needs of the house after coming back from work. It is common in Asian countries where only women are asked to work houshold tasks. However, it should not maintain its cultral obstable as a single parent working is not enough in this era. In this regard, a cooking task could be performed by the wife as she is mostly proficient. The wife can take care of clearning after cooking. Instead, the man could take care of the laundary and ironing. It is sharing of responsibilities and taking care of each others. By continuing this type of relationship, none of them will have to overworked.
Phyisically demeanding jobs at home should be taken care of by the male household head. As a female naturally has a weaker body, the male should carry heavy lifting works such as carrying water buckets. Men must help the women in all types of physicial works. For better coexistence and happiness of a family, both women and man share the household works.
To conclude, it is necessary for men and women to share the household works as both require to fulfill the needs family.
