Wowen in many nations now no longer regard getting married as a necessary condition. Society believes that the main reason is present women have abilities to earn income by themselves. Hence, women do not rely on the husband to require the financial security anymore. I totally agree with the perspective.
In my opinion, indeed, women nowadays have their own abilities to make fortune, lead them be independent from the family, and are able to support daily fees by themselves. As the society perspective improve, modern women prefer to work outside rather than staying at home doing housework. It is a significant meaning that women start to working for salary, the main reason why husbands can dominate a whole house in the past is because of they control house-use finance, however, when women start to earn their own money, they start to control themselves. Actually, in my family, my mother working outside to earn money, my father stay in home to take care of us and do the housework. It is obvious that once women control their own fortune, both men and women status is fair, and that is the reason that women are able to live independently.
On the other hand, As society develope, there are more social issue come out. The price of accomadation and daily item keep growing, while salary do not rise as high as daily prices, which cause more women are not willing to get married. For instance, the house price in Taipei is too high to general couple to afford, many people’s salary only enough to use by themselves. Hence, high price in daily use and low paid result to women tend to be single.
In conclusion, it is a tendency that women do not want to get married because of women start to have their own abilities to earn money, and also be affected by social economics.
