In recent years, people have spent less amount of time with their families than they did in the past. The main reasons for this issue are increasing heavy workload and traffic congestion on the main roads of the cities. Its negative consequences can be mitigated by balancing workload among workers conveniently and promoting people working remotely.
I consider two main factors to be responsible for spending less time with family. The foremost cause of this problem can be attributed to growing amount of work for per worker. Managers mostly prefer to give the most essential and difficult tasks to the workers and sometimes work balancing is not fair enough. That is why it results with spending more time in jobs. Not only does it take workers’ time, but it also makes them exhausted, so when they come home, they have not enough interests for their families. In addition, traffic congestion plays a crucial role in worsening the situation. After leaving their work, people face long, tiring congestion on the roads which takes their a lot of time. Not only do they spend much time in congestion, but it make them nervous and stressed which are other factors not to tend to spend time with their families.
Nevertheless, by adapting several practical measures, this issue can be effectively addressed. One viable approach to dealing with this challenge is dividing work among the employees properly and balanced. It would be beneficial and indispensable for employees, because they would only need to do their own responsibilities rather than numerous tasks. Another effective measure would be to promote people working remotely. Its main influence would be on traffic congestion which is indisputable by decreasing the number of vehicles on the roads.
In conclusion, the problem of spending less time with family primaly derives from imbalanced workload and traffic congestion and can be succesfully tackled if the workload is properly balanced and people tend to work remotely.
