Because the resources are limited, I agree with the statement that intellectual education is seemed more important than moral education in the educational system of many countries. I will illustrate my perspectives in the following paragraphs.

Besides the reason of limited resources, modern governments of many regions in the world put the importance on intellectual education and take strategies such as providing useful and effective courses at the schools or financial supports to promise and enhance their global competivity.

The public in Taiwan considers that intellectual education is more helpful for their life as they couldn’t receive such assistance from other measures. Influenced by traditional and cultural values , the present education system in Taiwan tends to be a preparation for the occupation, and it provides knowledge of electricity, business negotiations, foreign languages, and other professional skills. Consequently, it causes a heavy impact on choosing the subject in the university for students.

However, people in Taiwan are used to acquire moral education from original family and their social environment. Although the whole society prefers get realistic skills from the school, it doesn’t seem that moral education is ignored in Taiwan. Instead, we are exposed to it everyday. Currently, individuals usually discuss moral issues by the social media or the news, and the contents include priority seat, queue proprietary, and the right of pedestrians. Moreover, the government often promotes and encourages citizens to participate in charity activities and to be concerned about the disadvantaged groups.

In conclusion, to cultivate talents in the next generation, the whole globe intends focus on the intellectual education nowadays. The present educational system in Taiwan also seems to pay more attention to it. Nevertheless, the citizens in Taiwan are still concerned about the social issues about moral education.
