It is true that juvenile delinquency nowadays is a widespread issue for many countries. This essay will first outline t he underlying reasons behind this phenomenon before proposing viable solutions to alleviate it.
Co mmitting crimes in children and adolescents worldwide can be attributed to two main reasons. One of these relates to education from t he family. The living environment can have significant effects on an individual’s development. This is because children and adolescents tend to imitate their parents’ behaviour at a very young age. Therefore, if their actions are bad, this might likely contribute to negative growth. This can be seen in pickpocketing, an issue that is really prevalent in global issues, which might reflect that both adults and teenagers are the chief culprits. This, in turn, allows individuals to behave wrongly and deprives them of a chance of becoming a meaningful person in society. Another reason for this problem relates to living conditions. Those who grow up in low-income families might find that they cannot access wealthier items as they are really expensive, like updated phones, modern infrastructures, a nd fashion innovations. Consequently, individuals have to find ways to achieve desirable items, whether it jeopardizes others or not.
In order to tackle this issue, a collaboration between t he government and th e family is wholly warranted. As for the former, t he government should impose regulations about establishing rehabilitation centers for those whose crimes are pretty common in society in order to keep t he country peaceful and polite. If these actions a re more threatening, it is really crucial to create st rict rules about considering i ncarceration or not. These rules must be abided by d uring teenage years. As for the latter, the family has a significant impact on establishing children’s behaviour and attitude. Parents should teach them the values of independence, creating something necessary for th e country, and how largely bad actions will be punished.
In conclusion, negative education from t he family, coupled with impoverished living conditions, gives rise to the increase in crime issues. Notwithstanding this, with the cooperation between t he government and th e family, this issue will be addressed.
