Across the globe, frequently changes in people’s lifestyles affect family connection. In my opinion, the benefits of such trends outweigh the drawbacks.
With the development of technology, people are becoming increasingly dependent on their mobile phones. Most citizens are addicted to games and short videos in the spare time because they face the rat race and pressure in workplace. Therefore, most people choose to immerse them into virtual world in freetime. The time they could communicate with family reduce and they do not want to start a deep talk with family face to face due to tiredness.
However, technology can also make our relationships closer in another aspect. Nowadays, mobile phones become more functional, and they break the limitation of time and space. People can call others or send messages anytime and anywhere. As a result, it saves lots of time and energy for people to build tight connection between family. For example, people can share interesting topics with relatives through some chatting applications. Therefore, even though people are far apart from relatives, the relationship will not weaken.
Changes in transportation have also contributed to improvement of family relationships. There are more options for citizens to choose, such as subways, planes, new energy automobiles. Workers can be more affordable so that they can visit relatives more frequently. In the past, people did not have convenient transportation, hardly could they visit each other. But now they have the ability to visit others even though relatives are far away from them.
In conclusion, changes in people’s lifestyle give more advantages in connection between family.
