In numerous communites, the practice of traditional skills and ways of life is decreasing, which adversly affects the presence of cultural knowledge. This essay will argue the caused problems after this, and suggest viable solutions to overcome this situation.
The prime and the most overwhelming dilemma is that the disappearance of traditions may lead to is the loss of the country’s identity in the global perspective, when citizens are ignorant about the cultural knowledge of their country they will neither be able to talk about it and represent for foreigners nor educate the new generations about it. As a result, the unique local signs such as the traditional culunary, clothing, etc will disappear over time and the cuntry will lose its identity in the global perspective. For instance, American recent study about history has shown that today a large proportion of 80% American people have a very limited knowldge about their culture, wich hindered them to participate in many global knowldge competitions, just because they are unable to answer questions about their history and culutre.
However, I contend that this problem could be tackled by the efforts of government, and that is by the raise of awarness about the significance of traditional skills and cultural knowldge, officials should try to find ways to educate different categories of society about the purpuse of traditional skills and the stroy of each one of them in order to help them considerate local culture as a valuble concept and appretiate it, in this way government will be able to preserve the identity of the country and its culture. For example, they can lunch costless trips to historical musuems so citivins can be closer to their hisotry and culture.
In conclusion, despite the lost of local culutre can lead to serious paradox such as the loss of the country’s identity, some efforts from officials would solve it.
