In my opinion, women should be able to join the military like men. It’s really unfair to them when some people believe that the military is only suitable for men and not for women. Even though they have physical and health differences, it does not mean they are useless and unable to do their jobs. Especially in today’s equal society.
Frist of all, we can see the more diffrent between men and woman are physical strength, possibility of survival. Surely, men are suitable for top military duties, because they can include carrying guns and heavy weapons to fight back the enemy. If soldiers are equipped with advanced technological equipment, they also need to be strong heath to complete their tasks. In addition, the ability to recover from serious injuries makes male officers suitable for joining the army. A man cannot have a high fever when the weather changes suddenly.
On the other hand, women do not have the above advantage. But they also can join the army as a military medical officer and provided medical treatment to soldiers, who with minor and serious injuries. In Viet Nam, we have “ Sao Nhap Ngu ”program. When I watching that show, I can see they have gender-neutral because men and women work the same. But woman can overcome a hurdle challenges easily because of their tiny-size bodies.
As the matter of fact, their presence in the military, we can see equality in recognizing each person’s abilities. Get rid of the social biases that the men can do big thing and the weaker sex cannot. Either males or females play an essential role in protect their country’s sovereignty.
