Due to the rapid increase in popularity of multinational corporations, more agreement about their threats to people’s lives quickly spreaded out. I reckon they offer enormous quantities of benefits, as we will discuss.
Opponents of multinational companies base their argument on the cause of consumerism. As these companies become more popular, people buy their products despite the fact that they do not need them. This phenomenon is caused by only consumers themselves; they just need to be aware about the necessary products for their life. Instead, by changing perspectives about multinational corporations a number of advantages can be found.
There are three main reasons for believing that multinational companies are generally advantageous.Firstly, out of great competition among MNCs(multinational companies), they tend to increase the quality or effectiveness of their products.Indeed, such products are modified to make them more competitive with other companies’ products. For example, Apple adds multitude functions along with an increase in the design of their phones(iphone).Secondly, these corporations offer economic rise to their home country. As they should pay taxes to the local government and increase the export rate ,this is obvious why this is the case. Finally, MNCs play a crucial role in providing new employment for citizens which decreases the unemployment in the country and benefits the life quality of individuals.
To sum up,although there is an increase in the number of individuals who argue about the effect of multinational companies on the quality of life, it is completely opposite thinking on what MNCs can do.
