Band 5+: In most of societies, the role of mother and father differs. What are the causes of this difference? Who will play the prominent roles in future?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this contemporary era, families are the building blocks of the societies. Father and mother have an individuality and are have equivalent responsible for the growth of the child’s physically, mentally and emotionally. In the most societies, some individuals still believe that the role of mother and father are distinct. How will the societal shifts reshape the role of parents.

To begin with, in most societies people believe that the role of a mother is just to give birth to a child and look after child’s schooling, eating and homework. On the flip side, father is the one who brings money for bread and butter and does not have to do anything with the child’s care. The first and foremost reason for these differences is that people are illiterate and still follow old customs and traditions. For instance, if a women goes out and work, then senior adults get incredulous and scold her, because they are conservative.

In addition to, these undeveloped societies do not have family planning, birth rate is high so women are compelled to stay at home and feed the children. As a result, women suffer the fully responsibilities for a child’s development, whereas men are typically expected only to work and support financially. For instance, if a father is asked in which class his child studies he has to think so hard and even that he cannot remember.

However, in the future the scenario will change. We are living in an era of globalization in 21 century. We are influenced by westurn culture.Nowadays , people are educated, literate and aware of things.Parents understand their responsibilities and work equally for the holistic development of the child. As a result, in the future, due to education and globalization these differences will reduce and children will have a bright future.

To encapsulate, there are many reasons for the gender differences in parental roles, but the future is predicted to hold no such differences.
