From past few decades, the family formation has been altered from joint to nuclear. Similarly, plays has been changed for the family members. In my perspective, this is one of the positive thing as personal freedom is counts, meanwhile, lack of emotional support might be one major negative impact.

Over the period of time the number of nuclear family is growing in tremendous phase which allows every member to have a sense of freedom. I believe, if there are fewer people in family allow us to have a greater focus on Careers. There won’t be any external pressure from others, resulting in having settle and balance work life as well as family life. For instance, my trend Binod is living in a modern family and he got one of the recognized job and have freedom from family. On the other hand, Suresh who lives in a traditional family faces daily life problems and is unable to progress in life.

On the contrary, living in a modern family has major drawbacks as emotional support. Especially for offspring, they won’t get the love from their grandparents. In my opinion, for children sense of belonging is the most important thing during their growing phase . The way older care for their children cannot be compared with the care they get from their parents. For example, a child growing up in a traditional family seems to have a more polite nature compared to that of a child of a nuclear family.

To sum up, family structure and member’s roles are getting modified day by day. It leads to positive development as members can get their own time but better children are bringing up is not as good as expected in the modern family.
