Band 4+: In some cities, people are choosing cars instead of bicycles, while in other cities riding bikes is replacing cars. Why is this the case? Which development do you think is better?

In this fast-moving era, the world is changing rapidly. It is being common that in some urban areas people are choosing bicycles instead of cars, while others think cars are more better. In this essay, I will discuss both sides and give my own view.

This fast-paced and competitive world requires us to be faster. Cars are more practical and comfortable in different situations. To be more precisely, for long trips and distances, it will make our way shorter and for carrying heavy items, they are more practical than any bikes. Additionally, different weather conditions also essential in peoples choices. Precisely, especially in winter there would be cold and low temperature. For these conditions cars are more practical than bicycles.

Although there are numerous benefits of cars, in my opinion, bikes are better choice. Firstly, bicycles are environmentally-friendly. Most cars have deleterious effects like releasing harmful emissions into air and this could cause to worsen urban air. Unlike cars, bikes are green. Secondly, bicycles are helpful four our health. Cycling only includes us to pedalling and keep balance. This promotes healthy life-style.

In conclusion, People are choosing cars because of convenience and although there are some benefits of this like accessibility and being fast, in my opinion bikes are better as reasons that mentioned above.
