The tendency when some of open spaces and public parks are redeveopmented into gardens has both positive and negative sides. Although, replacing them into gardens decrease the number of green areas, I am of the opinion that low-income citizens can use them and cope with health-related problems outweighs the problem that they have to deal with.
he main disadvantage of this situation / of replacing public parks and open spaces with the gardens is a lack of greenary/ decrease in the number of green spaces. Gardens, where people can grow fruits and vegetables are lack of greenary, because usually it takes some months just for raise these products. As a result, in some cities citizens feel a lack of such places, that beneficial for different activities and relaxing.
BP2: However, I believe that this downside mentioned above is a small price to pay compared to solutions that gardens offer to health-related problems for low income citizens. These days prices for fresh vegetables and fruits are increasing and becoming expensive. These people can grow their own food, to provide healthy nutrion habits for their family instead of buying fastfood, that can be a cause of the obesity, diabets and others chronical diseases. By implementing this opportunity, people care about their physical and mental conditions, that can also work as preventive measures for them. Moreover, this aim help the government spent less money on health insurance and infrastructure, because these people appeal to doctores rarely. In the result, using public parks and other open areas as gardens become more beneficial for low-income people and decrease amount of money that government spent on health infrastructure.
To conclude, even though replacing public areas leads to such problem as lack of greenery, I am convinced that the benefit of gardens outweighs the problem as low-income people can use them for provide much healthier food for themself.
