One of the primary causes of postponing having children later in life is career. Nowadays, competitive job market, many young adults prioritize establishing a professional foundation before taking on the responsibilities of parenthood. Meanwhile, one of the current fair employment rules stipulates that employees must not have children for a certain period. Beyond finances, mental readiness plays a crucial role. Large number of people choose to delay parenthood because they want to focus on personal growth. Furthermore, individuals who may have had difficult childhood experiences often wait until they feel emotionally healed. They want to ensure they are fully present and mentally healthy before beginning their journey as a parent.

This trend has a profound effect on the family’s economic health. They generally have more resources to invest in their children’s development such as high-quality education, healthcare, and extracurricular activities become more accessible. However, there are significant biological impacts, particularly regarding physical soundness. As women age, the body may not support pregnancy as easily as it does in younger years. It can lead to increased health risks for both the mother and the baby.

In conclusion, the decision to have children later in life is largely a response to the modern need for career and emotional maturity. However, the results in families that are more stable ecomomic and better facilities for children, it also has bad impact such as physical challenges.
