Most people have children at a later age than in the past because education is more accessible, so they learn the impacts of having children when they are not ready, such as financial factors. Simultaneously, the number of new young people seems to decrease continuously and has negative impacts.
One significant reason for the delay in having children is the increased access to education. Most schools and universities teach students that before having children, they should have a stable work and income. Otherwise, children might face lacking nutrition, education and other significant factors. Also, the academic institutes show the example of the countries where the children face poverty, like Ethiopia and Sri-Lanka. Therefore, people in this generation work hard to ensure that they are ready to have babies, and it leads to having children at a later age than the old people.
Although the method seems to be beneficial for people, it affects families and communities and might lead to international problems. In many countries, the birth rate is decreasing. As an illustration, Japan has one of the lowest proportions of young people when compared to other countries in the same region. As a result, most of the population in many countries become elderly people, and many old people do noy have the descendants to help them in daily lives. For example, two years ago, people had to use electronic devices to register a COVID-19 vaccine, but many elderly can not do that as they do not have the descendants to help them.
In conclusion, education drives the perspective of current people to prepare before having children. In contrast, it can not overlook the negative sides of this in terms of families and societies. Elderly is the range of age that need taking care of their descendants, so if men and women still have children at a later age than in the past, our communities might this problem might become worst.
