Writing Task 2
There is no doubt that taxes account for a relatively large proportion of people’s income In some countries. however, I still strongly believe that free education and healthcare are more important for people and will have a positive impact on people’s lives.
On the one hand, in every country, whether developed or underdeveloped, there are still some people who live in poverty. They probably could not offer the cost of education and healthcare. In this case, the strategy of free education and healthcare is beneficial for them. Which can bring a country a steady society, with fewer criminals. And keep the country’s sustainable development.
On the other hand, as the economic situation often fluctuates, the people who obtain higher wages these days may lose their jobs on another day. Therefore, the taxes they paid before would pay them back when they face economic difficulties. And may give them a chance to find a new job. Moreover, the policy can maintain their children living a decent life as well.
In conclusion, although there are certain negative sides of the high taxes , I would argue that it is a positive trend overall. Free education and healthcare still can provide a good guarantee for people to live a stable life.
