Healthy citizens are a major factor in a country’s development. Some developed nations are suffering an obesity epidemic and some authorities think that the government should be aware of this alarming issue. I agree that not only the government, the adults who were involved in the upsring also take the necessary steps to curb this problem.
On the one hand, children are becoming obese and unhealthy because of the rise of processed food and parents have a major factor to keep their children away from that issue. First, parents are closer to their children and they have to control their children’s diets. To boot, they can provide them a daily basis meal with more healthy foods rather than junk food or food with excessive harmful preservatives. Furthermore, with the technology era, a huge number of channels or Youtube video advertisements promoting fast-food can distract children from following a healthy lifestyle. To solve this, adults can teach them of the harm that can occur by consuming these and guide them to proper adequate diet habits in early ages.
On the other hand, the government also has a minor component for youngsters to nurture children’s outstanding developments. First, the government should promote schools or communities to establish more physical activities for youngsters to keep their health better. Sending children to outdoor activities or sports classes, such as running or swimming or gymnastics class, can help them to get a better physical wellness. In addition, they can build more children parks and jogging or cycle tracks to foster children to do more exercise. Some studies show that children who spend more time with nature can grow faster and can reduce stress levels by providing a stimulating environment to encourage exploration. Thus, it will be beneficial for their future health and provide a high quality workforce for the nations as well.
To conclude, both the government and citizens should take the necessary steps, and this problem will stop escalating. In order to promote a healthy lifestyle, they have to provide more healthy routines and physical activities for children.
