The majority of children suffering from obesity issue and it is playing a crucial role in today’s society. Some people believe that the government should to care for these issues and offering solutions, such as banning unhealthy food advertisings on children and health care interventions; and, I totally agree with these statement.
To begin, presently, impact of marketing deleterious foods on children boosting in order to it is negatively impacting to youngsters health. Government should regulate these advertisements, such as snacks, sodas along with fast food to protect young audiences. For instance, the United Kingdom restricts on junk food ads during children’s TV shows. Therefore, government should banned harmful food advertisements, and would make healthier options more financially attractive.
Another reason is that government could offer free or subsidized health programs aimed at early intervention in childhood obesity, such as regular health screenings in schools or access to nutrionists and fitness programs for overweight children. By identifying children at risk of obesity early, healthcare proffessionals can intervere before the problem becomes more severe. As an example, if once a child identified as overweight or obese, healthcare workers can provide tailored advice both the child and the family. Consequently, dietitians can create healthy meal plans or referring them to fitness programs, and it will be beneficial for children’s overall well-being.
In conclusion, while the government has an essential role in creating an environment that encourages healthier choices, the responsibility is shared with families, schools, and communities. I firmly believe that the government does have a significant responsibility in addressing the issue of childhood obesity.
