In various countries, childhood obesity and unhealthy lifestyle are rapidly common issues. It is often argued that the Governments ought to take responsibility for these problems. From my viewpoint, I totally advocate this statement.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why other factors are responsible for overweight children. Firstly ,children’s parents should be in charge of childhood obesity. This is mainly due to the fact that they can monitor their children’s diet, synonymous with the determination of their children’s lifestyle.Thereby, parents should ensure that their children are getting enough physical activity as well as absorbing enough nutritious food to get rid of obesity. Second, schools can be a contributor to childhood obesity. Since these places are a common sight among children , schools can offer several extra-curricular activities to boost children’s health such as football or volleyball. Ham Rong high school, for example, often organizes volleyball tournaments beside school-time to enhance their sense of ambition about sports, leading to the removal of obesity.
On the other hand, the governments are of paramount importance to the removal of fatness among children. First and foremost , governments can organize some related-obesity programmes throughout the nation . This can raise people’s awareness about the adverse effects of fatness. For instance , VTV3, a national channel in Viet Nam , often discusses childhood obesity by inviting some experts to provide causes and negative outcomes of the fatness to the general public. Furthermore, the governments can raise national funds to help outweigh children. This is because some obese children are suffering from a myriad of fatness-based diseases ranging from high blood pressure to diabetes. People and the government can lend them a hand to overcome these diseases .
In conclusion, I agree to some extent that governments are responsible for solving the problem of unhealthy and overweight children. But, society and its individuals also play a critical role in overcoming this situation.
