It is thought that a large proportion of people are keen to rent their homes instead of buying them. Renting a home would have some benefits such as flexibility, but there will also be some drawbacks.
On the one hand, it is easier to move from one city to another if you live in a rented house. Especially for workers whose jobs require them to change the place where they live quickly, renting an apartment is the most suitable option. Moreover, individuals who live in these types of homes do not have any responsibilities more than keeping the house clean. For instance, if the house has a technical problem, it is expected that the landlord will solve it. Possible conflicts with landlord would lead to stress.
On the other hand, people who live in rented houses have limited freedom. For instance, they cannot make changes freely, such as decorating or renovating the house. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that they can stay in the house as long as they want; the landlord can ask them to leave after the contract ends. Setting aside all these reasons, renting is not a financially beneficial choice. Money spent on rent does not build future wealth. It is nothing more than poor financial management.
In conclusion, although renting an apartment might be seen logical as it has some upsides including moving to abroad quickly and having a no reasonable responsibility; however, it has also downsides such as limited freedom, less stability, and being a poor financial choice.
