Band 5+: In some countries, only few young people go to classical music concerts or or play classical music. Why? Should young people be encouraged to attend and learn more

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Some of the countries playing classical music or visiting classical music concerts is something they are not fond of. In my opinion, I believe its essential to support people to go for the classical music concerts and learn to play classical music because it is part of our culture and traditions.

Classical music is the devotional and traditional form of music which is learnt by people since ancient times. Interestingly, Every state or place has its own form of classical music such as Carnatic music and Hindustani music. While some of them feel it to be tedious others use music as a form of art to express their feelings and emotions through music and singing. Out of all, music teaches discipline, commitment and focus in life and brings peace to our mind.

Now-a-days the popularity of folk music and western music outweighed the attention of the classical music. Moreover, people who teach classical music are comparatively less which reduced the popularity of classical music gradually. So, to rebuild the importance of classical music, government has taken an initiative by providing funds to the people who learn classical music and perform in foreign countries which portrays our culture, tradition and customs and brings recognition to music. Additionally, people can also choose classical music as their career option and pursue studies in this art form in future.

In conclusion, learning this picturesque piece of art form helps us to understand the value of customs, traditions and religious practices. Furthermore, it develops a sense of discipline, commitment and focus which is essential for an individual’s growth.
