There are states where possessing a house is more valuable than to pay rent. In fact, it is considered as a symbol of stability and success. In this essay I will explain reasons why owning a home is so important for people and why is it a positive. I believe that for two reasons which will be elaborated in the essay.
To begin, it is provides a sense of security and stability. Renting a place should be unpredictable, such as householders may rise rent price or sold the building. But, when you own a home you don’t have problem like this, you have full control on your living situation. For instance, I am living in renting apartment for 4 years now, I established comfortable neighborhood, having friend in building. However, the homeowner informs me to vacate the house, because he decided to give property to his son. It would be very depressing situation for me.
Moreover, owning a house provides sense of safety and belongings. You don’t have to pay rent monthly and are not afraid of lose living place if you lose your job, you feel safe when you live in your own property. For example, imagine person who working hard for live and pay rent regularly. One day he fired and have no savings, his situation Is very hard because he cant pay rent anymore and have no place to live. This would be very hopeless situation that will not face you if you are the master of building.
To sum up, owning a house provides homeowners with a sense of security, stability and safety. While there may be some minor downsides to homeownership, ultimately, owning a home is a goal that many people, all around the world, aspire to, and it is a worthy one.
