Owning a house is often considered better than renting one in various regions. In this essay, I will discuss the benefits of real estate ownership, particularly in terms of stability and freedom.
There are several reasons why people prefer to buy a house rather than rent one. For example, my uncle lives in Dhaka, where he owns a house in the heart of the city that is quite valuable. However, he recently purchased another house in the countryside because he finds living in a rural area more comfortable than in an urban environment. Moreover, he feels financially secure because of his profitable real estate investments. He hasn’t sold his city house; instead, he has rented it out, which also provides him with financial support. This gives him a significant amount of stability and freedom, which is why my uncle prefers to buy property.
On the other hand, some individuals who are financially unstable prefer renting a house because they may not be able to afford real estate. In city life, the majority of residents belong to the middle class, and they often face numerous responsibilities. For instance, my aunt lives in London and has never had the capacity to buy an asset like a house, which is why she resides in a rented property. However, I believe she is losing a significant amount of money through renting and should consider purchasing a house or an apartment as soon as possible. Additionally, owning a home provides individuals with freedom, stability, and a comfortable living environment.
In conclusion, owning a house or real estate offers numerous benefits. By renting, people often lose a considerable amount of money, which is not preferable. Furthermore, living in a rented property can diminish one’s sense of comfort and freedom.
