In various countries, there has been a notable increase in the number of people choosing to have their first child at an older age. One of the main reasons is individuals’ desire to achieve success at an early age and challenges in creating a family. I believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and I will explain my view in the following paragraphs.
One of the primary reasons for this trend is individuals’ inexorable drive to achive success at an early age. To explain, currently, the majority of youngsters are aspiring to enter prestigious universities or seeking new job prospects in order to reach financial freedom in life. The upbringing and nurturing a first child requires laborious efforts and bearing huge responsibilites and duties, which can thwart individuals from accomplishing their goals and studies.Therefore,many people choose to focus first on their goals and produce their first child later in life.
On the one hand, youngsters can fully immerse into their work and reach economic prospects in life in order to be able to fully provide and suffice their families.One the other hand, it has been discovered that aging increases the risk of unsuccesfull reproduction of offspring and it will be harder for older people to have a child, however the implactions of having a child at an older age have not been found to be extremely negative. Therefore, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
In conclusion, I believe this trend could be attributed to several factors, including modern youngsters’ desire to achieve success and that advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Because, it allows individuals to completely concentrate on their work and achieve financial freedom in life.
