Nowadays, there is a considerable debate regarding whether the unemployed should receive a sum of money every week in the form of a benefit, while other argue that money shouldn’t be given. In my opinion, although both perspectives have merit, I firmly disagree with the latter view because that would support the unemployed to looking for an occupation and help improve society.
On the one hand, proponents of the idea that the unemployed shouldn’t receive any source of support point out that view could have an advantages effect on society. The primary explanation for this is that might make people less productive.
A clear example of this can be seen when some unemployed depends on the money they receive instead of searching for work. Consequently, this demonstrates why some people consider employment person should rely on themselves.
On the other hand, I firmly align with the view that the unemployed should be supported by their governments due to the fact that salary could be helpful for them to make their life stable until they get a convenient occupation. For instance, many people who have no source of income can be unable to travel to their job if they had a chance to find one in a distant area so this support would be useful. Furthermore, many advantages impact we can seen on community because the benefits of having a simple source of income clearly outweigh any alternatives.
In conclusion, although there are valid arguments on both sides of the discussion, I firmly disagree with the idea that an unemployed person should not receive any source of support by the government. This is primarily because that would be assist for them and making our society better.
