In this fast paced world, more number of young adults are reported than older people in some countries. Although, young generation is benefecial for the society’s growth and progress, elders are important to share their life expeirence to aid the ongoing progress. Thus, I have a balanced opinion with the following reasons.
Undoubtedly, young adults capable to adapt, innovate and learn new technological updates. Youngsters in their prime age tend to work harder, seeking fame and success. With the frequent technological updates, they can easily adapt to the changes as they are more tech-savvy. For example, the upgrade of iphones each year with a new feature, they easily understand the new technology and features of the device. Moreover, Young engineers often contribute to foster innovations by understanding current market trend. While, the advantages of increased young population are more, one should not forget the existence of elders who has equally contributed to these innovation for past centuries.
Nevertheless, elders are equally important is a society to share their experience from failures they faced which create awareness among the population. Most people become successful in their late stages of life after struggling through life challenges . Moreover, most scientists succeeded with their inventions after facing major drawbacks in the past years. Nonetheless, youthful general lacks experience, elderly generation is essential to guide them and show the right path. A basic comparison of an experienced doctor who is older in age tends to make safer and efficient decisions for the patient than a young professional who lacks experience.
In my opinion, while young generation is significant to foster growth and development, elder people have equal benefits in terms of valuable discoveries and guidance. Therefore, there should be measure to protect elders and consider their opinions.
