Nowadays, many couples decide to have babies at least a few years later since their marriage. I believe career, and high living expenses are some of the major reasons behind this trend. In my belief advantages of having children later in life outweigh its demerits.
To begin, growing number of population, including women are getting serous about their career development. Many parents tend to have their baby when they become success in their career as to become independent which may also lead them to postpone their first baby. For example, most of married couple of Japan want to successful in their career which take long time as a result they will have their child lately.
Moreover, due to rise in expenses individual thinks to have the child lately. When married couples feel that they are having hard to buy or manage goods for themselves then they will simply have child lately because it will be complex for them to raise their baby on that situation.
On the other hand, one of the significant benefit of having child on old age is that parents might be more financially stable. Citizen want to enjoy their life by earning with their love one rather then caring or raising child that why, they will have child later. For example, in order to enjoy their life with their love one in Japan they do not think about baby in early marriage and only after they become financial sable they will have baby.
In conclusion, advantage of children in older age is they can be financial stable as this may be because of their career and high living expenses.
