Band 5+: In some countries young people have little leisure time and are under a lot of pressure to work hard on their studies. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In recent years, a lot of students in many countries have insufficient leisure time due to their educational purposes. I think there are mainly two causes of this problem: the first is parental pressure, and the second is competition for university placement. However, there are some effective solutions to mitigate this issue.

Firstly, in many countries, parents are very strict and sometimes force their children to run their careers on their pre-built path. Secondly, parents high expectations on their children’s education is another reason. Lastly, relatives are sometimes distracted children’s main goal to an unachievable goal.

By contrast, there are some effective solutions of this phenomenon. Firstly, if parents support their children to achieve their own creative goals, it helps them to succeed in life very easily. Moreover, if educational institutions follow a convenient study schedule, it helps students to spend their leisure time. Furthermore, by reducing time spent on mobile phones or computer games, it could help children increase their leisure.

Furthermore, leisure is not only important for a children to improve their general knowledge and physical fitness, it helps them to reduce their feeling of anxiety or isolation. Additionally, if a kid is suffering from anxiety, it hampers their concentration or focus on the study. Therefore, it becomes difficult to achieve the goal of a child.

In conclusion, by reducing the parental and educational pressure on young people, leisure could be increased. Furthermore, there are some meaningful ways to overcome the problems too.
