Although noticeable advancements are achieved in the field of agriculture, many citizens from several nations of the world still suffer from hunger. This situation can be explained by a poor distribution system and social inequalities throughout the world. Several actions must be taken such as aids from the governement and associations.
To begin with, this phenomenon is mainly due to a lack of efficient logistic of food to poor areas, as well as the financial inability to purchase food. In reality, even though fresh food is produced thanks to agricultute, it does not reach all areas of the world, because of a negative financial situation. Furthermore, in many nations, the lower class society is unable to afford fresh food, due to inflation and food prices’ rise. For evidence, reports have shown that the food purchasing power has drastically declined throughout the last years, making it hardly accessible for people with the lowest salaries.
As a solution, financial aids should be provided by the government and cooperations to handle this issue. In fact, nutrition is a fundamental right and should be accessible by everyone. Thus, assitance is mandatory to satisfy this basic need. For example, the moroccan government and cooperations organise free food distribution trips to the lower class as well as people from isolated regions such as the community living in the Atlas mountains, ensuring food supply no matter the social category.
To conclude, the cause of this issue is not agriculuture nor food production, it is caused by the difficult situation these people are enduring such as inequalities and poverty. This should be adressed by providing help, facilitating food availibility for all.
