Band 4: In the future,more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Most of the people are going to choose their hometown over overseas for their holiday in the future.I disagree with this statement because the development of transportation today has made traveling more convenient,and Traveling to new countries enhances expanding their knowledge such as languages.This essay will discuss both views in the following paragraph.

Firstly,The progress of technologies of inventing transportations dramatically improve and be better more than in the past both the period of time consuming and the prices.In 500 years ago, people took a ship for 3 days from Thailand to Australia,but nowaday the planes only take 8 hours due to technologies.Moreover the cost of the tickets between inside the country and outside the country are similar so people often choose abroad over their homeland.For example,regarding to the website of travel.com on August 2024, the price between Thailand to Chiang Mai is the same price with Thailand to Loas,therefore the price allow people more accessible to travel other country.

Furthermore,Experiencing new countries allows people to gain their knowledge about new languages.This means people will know how to other country speak and pronounce their words so they will not only travel but also get knowledge about new languages too,regarding to BBC news Thailand in October 2023, interviewing tourist in Thailand, they love traveling Thailand instead of their own due to loving the sound of Thai pronunciation.Additionally they found it is wonderful to practice.

To conclude.Traveling new countries are easier and the prices are cheaper than the past because the progress of technologies.Moreover gaining new knowledge such as languages which allow tourist not only traveling but also getting new skills.I would say in the future most of people are increasing traveling in the other country.
