In contemporary society, the picture is becoming a more frequent and powerful way of communicating than the written world. Although whole information could not be described in one photo, I firmly believe that the image is effective way of communication.
Undeniably, from the statement person can understand more than from image, for example, human feelings cannot be fully understander through picture. Moreover, from one image people could have misunderstanding, everyone could understand from different point of view. As a result, information can give a fully developed, and understandable sentences, with dates, facts, or quote, which cannot have an image.
However, I would argue that, nowadays, people better comprehend through videos and pictures, than the long, tedious information, that most people will not read the statement till the end. For example, people are tending to consume information from Instagram/ Tik Tok reels or YouTube shorts, where one video is last for a few seconds, so people are used to watch short videos, and they could not make sense of long videos, not to mention the texts or articles.
In conclusion, while the information can be clearer and more comprehensible, I think that, in today’s world image (video or picture) is a more influential because of several factors.
