Animal goods have been in daily use of people from the early dawn of human civilisation but in modern society there is belief that there is no need for consumers to continue using animal products such as foods, remedies, and clothing as there plenty of artificial replacements I totally disagree with this as such goods can not fully beat the criterias of their natural analogues in nutritional value and quality. Moreover such products require expensive infrastructure that naturally increases the price of the final product that makes them even less popular among customers.
Technological advances that led to emergence of human-made meat and leather allowed in case of vegans to enjoy meat without worrying about killed animals or in case of textile producers to manufacture artificial leather without a need in cows and cow pastures but the major concern is that very often artificially produced meat products do not contain essential proteins and vitamins which are vital for general well-being exemplifying veggie beacons which are made of soy-based material can cause some nutritional deficiencies leading to further medical complications such as fat soluble vitamin A deficiency causing night blindness.Switching from meat to clothes, artificial leather does meet high standards as natural leather does thus making it only widespread in low quality market.
Along with nutritional values and, quality artificial products usually demand both labour and energy intensive infrastructure which in turn leads to rise in price also there are several complicated steps included in processes of production such goods taking some drugs as instances it is clear that natural animal derived remedies cost way cheaper than their artificial counterparts just like a medicine called Testosterone which is a hormone and which is derived from Bulls testicles cost cheaper than chemically manufactured Testosterone thus It is hard for artificial products to compete in price with natural products. That is why people still need animal derived remedies.
In conclusion,I completely disagree with the notion that modern society does not need animal derived products thanks to their artificial counterparts, simply because It is too naive to rely on artificial goods due to their poor quality along with high pricing and lack of nutrients in artificially produced meals.
