In today’s society, it is believed a university education is crucial for getting a high-paying job. I completely disagree with this idea and I have several reasons for that.
Firstly, companies hire workers for their experience most of the time, not for their education degree. For example, someone can graduate from one of the top 100 ranking universities, but if they do not have any experience in their work, they might be eliminated in the interview part of hiring.
Secondly, after graduating, people must apply for internships in order to get experience and enhance their team-work abilities. After finishing the program, this internship will be placed in their CV.
On the other hand, people think graduating from top universities can easy their work finding and they can find work easily. Firstly, they would enter the university with a major through the exam, etc., and it will not help to find a work with high salary easily. Secondly, the university will not give the education for you that you will use while you work. You need to do self-study in order to enlarge your knowledge in your field.
In conclusion, it would be better attending internship programs and doing self-study, rather than only studying university lectures, if you want to get a high-paying job.
