From the past, it was commonly believed that book was mainly used for storing information. However, nowadays humans used to store and find knowledge on the internet. Despite reliability and well-reputation, internet provide unparalleled accessibility and convenience in order to find specific information. In my perspective, the development of internet declined the popularity of ordinary books because of several reasons which will be explained below.
On the one hand, as I mentioned earlier, the books experience gradually decreasing because of e-books which is more comfortable and useful. Human beings simply can search on the online platforms any type of the e-books because it is more faster and cheaper, rather than ordinary books. Therefore, sometimes people prefer to buy their preferable books instead of going to book store or library. Moreover, the internet already surpass all books in terms of accessibility and reputation, hence the production of books declined significantly. For instance, helpful supporters, such as ChatGPT or Google can help for adolescents in order to improve their fundamental skills. In addition, teenagers or adults can learn beneficial skills, like a learning English or cooking from social media or Google. As a result, definitely society experience huge benefits from the domination of internet and networks, also internet can be more reliable with some changes from security world system in the world.
On the other hand, although internet brings more advantages than disadvantages, nothing in this world is not brilliant. Firstly, in spite of free access on the internet, sometimes in some websites can be misinformation. Consequently, it will increase concerns the among people. Therefore, it is not everything reliable which we tend to believe. Additionally, ordinary books contain fact-checked information which community prefer mainly. For example, sometimes in the new there are a lot of distribution of misinformation which cause concerns or, even more troubles. In addition, unverified websites can ensure risky viruses which can have detrimental impacts on our electronic devices. However, books contain useful and reliable information which do not cause problems on society.
In conclusion, even though books contains confirmed information and knowledge, internet presents whole data about the world to our gadgets. Therefore, power of the internet should not be abused or overused by hackers. I firmly believe that in spite of unreliability and spreading out misinformation, the internet will bring more benefits than drawbacks.
