In the distant past, individuals used to reside in the same place throughout their lives, while the prevalence of changing residing locations and living in other parts of regions has become more common. While this phenomenon might stem from looking for good living conditions and better employment, I believe that this is a positive development.
One of the reasons why people choose to live in varying parts of the world is that they try to find well-constructed places. As people living in villages struggle with a lack of food, money, and more catastrophic challenges, they try to find a better living location among well-known cities to avoid experiencing difficulties in their lives. For example, farmers who lead their businesses in the countryside face challenges regarding the weather. If there is a climate change in their areas, it is likely that they might strain their budgets by destroying crops. From this standpoint, people choose to relocate and move away to metropolitan cities.
Beyond this reason, making a good living is another argument. When people move to other cities, they can find jobs easily and earn a living to provide their families with their necessities. Simultaneously, by working overtime, they can demonstrate their determination and commitment to their jobs, thereby moving up the career ladder. As a result, they can obtain a well-paid salary, which they have never been paid in countryside jobs like in agriculture sectors.
From my perspective, I contend that this does more good than harm, as people from different backgrounds can learn about other cultures. Before moving away, people usually need to explore countries’ cultures, thus getting a good grasp of how differently residents of these countries live. For example, newcomers to other countries might be surprised that children adhere to the rules made by the elderly, while in their original country, it can be the opposite.
In conclusion, it is my firm conviction that relocation would provide a better place to live and well-paid employment, while it can be beneficial for those changing their places, as they can broaden their horizons by exploring other cultures and customs.
