As we approach a world of developments in tourism the question of whether the advantages of imperceptible difference between countries outweigh its disadvantages have gained traction. While it offers wide range of conveniences, I believe that every country should has own culture and traditions.
On the one hand, government want to make advanced environment for citizens to live comfortable destination. The main reason for this is that more and more people try to move oversea countries to accommodate in well developed areas. To illustrate this, 90% residents of New York are migrants who came from underdeveloped or developing countries. Therefore, authorities try to reduce the differences with build skyscrapers, change architecture and add new facilities for citizens.
An additional cause for this development is that governments seek to simulate industrial growth by promoting tourism. In other words, they create cost-effective alternatives and attract tourists. For example, many people opted for a desert safari in Qatar instead of Dubai because of budget constraints but it delivers identical experience and luxury at a fraction of the price. As a result, this exerts a profound influence country’s economy.
On the other hand, these advancements serve as a primary catalyst that cultural erosion and dilution. This is because, all countrues follow to the similar standarts at all social fields ranging from lifestyle to entertainment. For instance, every nation has own traditions, holidays, dishes, fashion or approach, however, this social standars lead all countries to follow same trend to keep their international status.
In conclusion, while it has some benefits on economy, I think that disadvantages outweugh its advantages
