In the early days, the teacher was considered the primary source of knowledge, while today many claim that they are no longer important, as various sources of knowledge can be available on the internet. I completely agree with this opinion as I believe that an educator is not just a tool to extract wisdom, but they are also a companion, accompanying them on their journey to success.

To begin with, although it is undeniable that teachers are no longer the sole source of knowledge as various information can be learn online, teachers still play a vital role in providing companionship. Differences from parents, educators can be able to understand the difficulties that lie in a student’s journey to success as they have experienced them through teaching, keeping students supported and motivated to keep on trying. For example, when studying math, a subject that was considered hard by many learners. Having a teacher will ensure that you are not alone, even at the toughest time, helping you to grow both academically and physically. Another reason is that the world is continuing to improve every day, making life easier, including studying with the help of the internet, where different data can be found, including inaccurate ones. To that, educators are important for identifying accurate nd necessary insights. This will further help prevent irrelevant knowledge being absorbed, helping learning easier absorbed, helping learning easier and increasing academic outcomes. Last but not least, mental health can also be improved by absorbing the right type of information can help prevent being disoriented and decrease study motivation.

To conclude, despite the evolving role of teachers in the modern era, they still play a necessary part, just in a new approach. Historically, they deliver insights, whereas they also awaken the power of thought and emotion in both present nd future generations.
