Long back in human history, morality has always been a question, a query, raised by the crowds. Even to these days- no one, even the most ingenious people ever born, can ever answer this wonder properly-“Is abortion ethical or not?”
Children is the infancy of humanity, a blank sheet waiting to written on ,a live that’s not even conscious. Infants stay in their mothers’ wombs for nine months for protection, nutrition and all, even when they’re born, differ from any other species, humans are fragile, we’re like Chinese dolls and even a scratch can cause absolute destruction and devaluation. Therefore, babies tend to represent a mythical species called ‘Angels’, they’re told to be the fallen ones of the species, which had given up the chance to live in forever, endless prosperity to be a moral one just so to walk on the surface of the Earth. Since they’re told to be so pure, so beautifully-worded, us adults are told to protect them at all cost.
If babies are so protected, then why is abortion so popular in this age? The answer is indeed relevant to how children are raised, not how loved they are. Giving birth to children is a whole lot of trouble, and raising them is somewhat of an advanced level comparing to birthing. Humans are so complicated, even the related ones can’t truly understand each other. So there are flaws born during the lap when you are a baby and when you’re an adult. But flaws are what made human-“human”, a perfect machine will never be one, and so won’t one that tries to be flawless. However, having too many flaws creates a criminal, and a criminal is never supposed to be in a society. Saying so, but incidents are unpreventable, so what if these criminals have a baby with one? Will the child have a chance to open their eyes or will they be killed in the blink of an eye? Of course, us children of Jesus chose the first option, or we just pretend to do so. Criminals’ children are and will always ostracized by society, regardless of our educational lessons about “kindness”. People who believe in forever torture for criminals’ children are either narrow-minded individuals or the guardians of the children, and so, abortion is born.
Legally, abortion can only be operated during the first nine weeks with both the fathers’ and the mothers’ consent. These criteria secured both mental and physical health of the parents. Abortion seems to be a great feat to be taken by people living in poverty, but in Christan’s eyes, they’re nothing more than an evil deed. They say abortion can only represent murder attempts the closest, which won’t quite make sense since infants are proved to not having any consciousness during the first few weeks in the wombs.
So, is abortion evil or not? That depends, there is nothing purely black or white , there are only different shades of grey, and to ever judge if abortion should be legalized, I would rather pass the chance to the people with further knowledge in this topic
