Some individuals believe that in this competitive job market and overload of workers, both parents should seek job opportunities to improve their financial abilities. Meanwhile, others argue that children will suffer from a shortage of happiness and encouragement from their beloved families. Although both hold merit, I am persuaded by the first perspective.
On the one hand, in these busy times, many people are restlessly looking for jobs to escape unemployment, leading to a significant number of employees. Therefore, it will be difficult for families to cover all bills and costs for daily life, including necessary products and public transport or petrol. To tackle this problem, it would be better for both mother and father to find work together in order to balance their lives and share the stress and barriers of the intense demands to pay for all living expenses. Additionally, stable finances are essential so that their children can also improve the quality of their academic education. This will provide good conditions for their future, and they will have access to enough necessary educational facilities. At present, in almost all households, both parents work and receive a salary at the end of the month. This has become a common occurrence in modern society. On the other hand, if both parents work, homes may become empty and lack family meals. This can weaken the bonds between children and their parents severely. Besides, the generation gap exacerbates this issue; because of a lack of sharing and expression of emotions and secrets, they may not find common ground. Indeed, during typical adolescent conflicts, children may feel they have the right to wear what they like, but parents may prohibit this, resulting in serious arguments. Because of such situations, children may stop talking to their parents and seek advice elsewhere. However, this can be dangerous, as teenagers without a deep understanding of the world are targets for bad people and street crimes.
In conclusion, there are many controversial perspectives on whether parents should both work or if one should stay home to care for their children. I firmly believe that having two sources of income provides a more stable life.
