In modern digital era, whoever has smart communication device can click pictures and forward it to anyone, this reach to photography by common people can ruin the importance of professional cinematographers. I firmly agree with this statement and I will explain the reason why I think so.
On the one hand, more use of smartphones means less job opportunities for professionals who has undergone special training in this role and invested their time and money to grow in particular profession. People will stop hiring professional photographers, which will lead to shortage of jobs. As a result, overall growth in the world of photography will start to fall which will not only impact the economy generated but also new technologies related to photography. Therefore, more and more immature and non-skilled photography will dominant this industry.
On the other hand, entertainment plays a major role in day to day life of people, the income generated from photos and video shootings is used for the maintenance and betterment of entertainment industry. With limited amount of money, the world of cinema will have detrimental impact on cinema and people will have nothing to do in their free time. For example, the price of tickets in cinema will be higher and general people will have nothing to do in their free time.
To conclude, with the reference to the above paragraph overuse of smart phones will have negative impact on society and in the profession of cinematography. Policy makers can impose new rules to protect overuse of mobile phones by general public and encourage the professionals.
