In today’s digital world, films and games are becoming more accessible at any time from any mobile device. While it seems favorable, its overall effect tends to be detrimental.
It is true that it can offer several benefits in many ways. A chief among them is the rise in capability for the local community. Most of the online films are just for free, and this, in turn, lets normal people enjoy watching movies without spending money for the tickets of theaters. Another main advantage of this trend is the benefits from games for the children. Some games, like PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends, give tricky missions for their players that require better cognitive function. This, in particular, fosters a child’s IQ level and problem-solving skills.
Beyond these direct benefits, there are many drawbacks to easier accessibility of films and games. A major concern could be the threat that may be put forth by hackers. The most common type is phishing. They make links that are connected to their devices, and once you enter this link, thinking it is a link to the movie, you will access the movie that you want. However, all your information will be put in the hands of that hacker. This, in turn, may lead to unauthorized access to your bank or all platforms that you use.
In conclusion, although it can offer several benefits by giving capability for normal people to watch movies that they want and foster a child’s IQ, but I remain convinced that its overall effect is likely to be negative for the reasons mentioned above.
