The issue of different methods on children upbringing is often complex and multifaceted. While some advocate that children should be raised in a free environment with less restrictions, others disagree and emphasize that parents should take strict measures to raise their children. This essay will examine both perspectives before presenting my opinion on this matter.
Proponents of raising children with freedom argue that if adults befriend their children it will help to overcome factors leading to mental health issues. Instead of scolding children about the situation, parents should listen patiently to their problems and suggest ways to overcome. Consequently, this approach will form a strong bond between them and fosters emotional well-being of a child. Moreover, by allowing a child to share their thoughts openly with the family members will help to prevent their communication and trust on an outsider, who can often lead them in a wrong direction.
On the other hand, taking strict measures on raising children can promote discipline and sincerity. Firstly, parents make sure that children follow a schedule, which not only helps them to excel in their studies but also enhance skillsets contributing to both personal and professional life. Moreover, keeping a close eye on children, guardians can stop them from involving in any wrong activities, which will have severe consequences on their future.
In my opinion, balance of both approaches are necessary for children overall development. At an early stage, parents should be follow a strict routine to develop critical life-skills in a child. Furthermore, by monitoring activities of a child, they can keep child away from bad influence. However, at the same time to make sure a child is not going through mental health issues, they should develop friendly relationship and communicate with them patiently.
