Nowadays, many young people are increasingly planning to get married at an early age. I believe that drawbacks outweigh benefits because even if there is more time to start a family, such an early marriage can sometimes harm one or both partners.
One of the significant advantages of early marriage is that this can help couples grow together and build a deeper over time. Several factors might contribute to that. For example, sharing experiences and long-term commitment from an early stage may lead to a strong relationship, especially if they mature together. Additionally, for those who want to have children, early marriage allows more time to start a family. They may have the energy and time to raise children, and it would be useful for their children to have young, energetic parents.
On the downside, early marriage has serious consequences. Young people may not yet be emotionally mature enough to cope with the complexities of marriage, such as conflict resolution, compromise, and balancing personal and relationship needs. This lack of maturity can bring to misunderstandings and stress in the marriage. Another disadvantage is that early marriage can sometimes disrupt one or both partners’ career or other plans.
In conclusion, even though an early marriage provides more time to start a family, it can sometimes negatively impact one or both partners. Therefore, disadvantages of this trend outweigh advantages.
