Other citizens are concerned about social and environmental challenges and argue that they should be prioritized. From my personal perspective, innovation should be planned based on the social requirements.
On the one hand, it is alleged that innovation is guided by economic enhancement, and proponents of this statement are persuaded that nowadays economic pursuits have an essential role in job creation. Entrepreneurs or businessmen are concerned about the innovation of new products or providing modern services to achieve financial independence. This profit requires investment in research and indeed increases staffing levels of different occupations. Moreover, the forthcoming improvement of the business entails incomes for both employers and workers.
On the other hand, it is important to innovate the methods in order to solve social problems. To illustrate this point, manufacturing of electric automobiles might be a great solution to environmental issues, especially to decrease carbon footprint. Accordingly, mankind may reach more incomes, and alleviate ecological deterioration. I am firmly persuaded that innovation should be followed to overcome social challenges.
In conclusion, profit-driven innovation undeniably plays a crucial role in the flourishment modern technology in the life of humanity. Integrating financial enhancement with prevention of environmental issues will make our lives safer and ensure a more equitable society for future generation. We should take into consideration profit with a purpose to improve social problems is pivotal for healthy life of our community in 21st century.
