Nowadays travelling around the world is bocoming more common among people, creating more chances to visit many countries for tourists. While there are some benefits of this, such as creating new employments or improvement in government’s income, I believe we should not ignore the drowbaks, like endangering local traditions and culture.
On the one hand, there are some obvious positives of traveling to countries. The first one is creating new places to work for people, which can reduce the rates of unemployment in services like accommodation, transport and entertainment. As a result, the possibility of improvement in people’s lifestyle could be riced. Also the regular visits of tourists can be beneficial for country’s economy. Indeed, they attract investment from multinational companies, increasing the position of the state.
On the other hand tourism can cause some problems. The main and prominent disadvantage could be the lose of local culture and tradition. That is, when people traveling around the world it is impossible not effecting tourists’ culture to the local one. It can lead to misunderstandings and culture shocks between people.
In conclusion, while international travel offers some benefits like new employments or development in economy, they also have drawbacks related to cultural demage.
