In today’s world, hosting international sport events become a goal for many countries. However, some people believe that this types of activities are just wast of money, while others think the oppsite. Although I acknowledge the amount of money spent in those events, I totally agree with the second believe as the pros of having those activities outwight cons. In this essay, I will discuss both sides and explain in details each perspective with supporting my point of view.
To being with, Over investing in those types of activites might bring a lot of problems to the community. Thay’s why some people think that spending the budget of the country on such activities is a waste of the resources. For example, rather than spending money on football world cup and Olympic games, the policy makers can use it to decrease the poverty in community and build new hospital. Furthermore, it can be used to help charities. This believe has been in the mind of society for long period but in my opaion this is a wrong becouse the authorties knows the best.
On the other hand, Giving the support to government of your country to host such event comes with a lot of advantages. This is becouse of the amount of money that’s might enter the government budget from the tourists. Since the event is an international that’s mean a large porportion of people will travell from the world to come to the host country, which bring with it a lot of responsibility on the government. That in fact, it is good for the people in that country because of this; a large number of jobs, improve their business, rise the biodiversity, introduce their heritage for forgen visiters and more. Therefore, I strongly agree with the idea of hosting different support events.
In conclusion, both sides have their advantages and disadvantages. However, the positive side of hosting such activities are more achievable.
