Nowadays more and more people have realised that watching TV programs is less useful than reading, because the second one helps us not only develop our fantasy, but also evolving our abilities to learn languages.
I totally agree with the opinion that individuals who enjoy reading have more opportunities to develop critical thinking and imagination. When a person is following the phrase in the book, they will immediately imagine this in their mind, besides this fact, new neural connections are formed. Thanks to new neural networks, people are able to learn another language easier and faster,consequently, become more intelligent and broad-minded. Humans reading academic literature expand their horizons and obtain more knowledge.
In today’s world people usually watch TV for relaxing after busy days, no doubts , that they have a desire to watch something simple to unloading their brains. There is no place for imagination, since the ready pictures are on the screen. Unfortunately, generally TV programs for mass consumers in order to control people’s thinking. Additionally, individuals do not have to concentrate on each word spoken by the programmers member as in the process of reading.
For instance, I have found the latest statistic, where scientists compared a person who reads and who does not. Results were staggering, an individual who does not read less developed than who reads by 15 percentages. This provides once again that reading expands our boundaries. According to those results, it could be mentioned that reading definitely assists people to evolve various skills, including imagination and learning foreign languages, unlike watching TV.
