This essay will start with why some people agree with these motions. After that are the different views why other people disagree with that. The final paragraph I will explain my opinion and why I partly agree with the first perspective.
Some people think that the government should have a law to have online payment in all of the stores because it can make profits for the companies in the long-term. Online payment has many benefits not only for people and employers, but also society because of their customer service. Using online payment is one factor of customer service which brings the profits to the employers. For example, If the customer does not have enough cash to buy the product, they will open the payment application online to buy it. Moreover, the payment application, such as K BANK in Thailand was designed for people to use it in just three steps; open the application, click the number which they want to make the payment, and wait for the payment. When the customer likes the service, they will come back and the brand preference will happen. These are the advantages for individuals because the employers can produce new products to solve the demand problems of people by using their profits. For instance, the technology companies, such as SAMSUNG, should produce the new laptop devices and keep their qualities for customers who study or work and customers who prefer SAMSUNG will buy their products and make profits for the company as a cycle.
However, other people disagree with these topics and they think online payment is not necessary and cash is enough for buying and they habituated to use it. Online payments can bring many drawbacks to the business. Firstly, online payment does not suit everyone, especially older generations. Some elders avoid technology so they will not use the payment applications when they purchase products because they think it is hard to use it. The reason why the elderly people do not use it is because the payment process of applications which they have to download and type their private information into the system, so they think it too messy and they prefer to use cash to pay than the online payments. Secondly, lack of security is the problem with people considering it. Before people make the payment through an application, they have to add their secret password and information, such as ID number, to identify their account details. In some countries, especially Thailand, online banking often fails due to hackers and lack of data protection so thai people feel uncomfortable and most of them decided to uninstall the application to protect their identity. These all factors make people think the government should not have any laws about online payment.
In conclusion, I strongly partly agree with this statement as well because people should have a right to choose what ways they want to spend their money on cash or online banking. I think both views of this statement have a different benefit to people and society. It will be better if the government can take action and create new laws for people who use cash and online money.
